It was perhaps inevitable that in the days of global production and limited choice our adventures and toil in maintaining the supply of our glass should end up with us producing it ourselves! That’s some thirty years plus now, but now it really is ours and available once more online too!

So, just some short words on the glass. We like to think that a restaurant should be an old friend to regulars, and like an old friend it should not be trying too hard. Things should be straightforward. They should be gently confident, and straightforward does not mean simple. Good design reflects the nature of one's activity and one's experience and we'd much prefer you enjoyed the food and not the curtains (no you are right, we do not have any curtains).

The glass is fit for purpose, and it is a visual reference to our way of doing things. It is all part of the whole, god in the detail. You choose the wine!
